When to Go on Safari in Tanzania

Dry Season
(June to October) – Prime Safari Time
The dry season is widely considered the best time for a safari in Tanzania. During these months, vegetation is thinner and animals gather around water sources, making wildlife easier to spot. This is the ideal period to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration in the northern Serengeti, especially around July to September when dramatic river crossings occur. Green Season
