Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a representative from Kili Roam Adventures will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi.

If you arrive a day before your safari, you will have time to relax after your journey and prepare for the adventure ahead. In the evening or at a scheduled time, your safari guide will meet you for a pre-safari briefing. This is the perfect opportunity to go over your itinerary, discuss what to expect during the trip, and ensure you have all the necessary items for your safari.

We recommend planning to arrive at least one day prior to the start of your safari to allow for rest and any unforeseen travel delays.

After a morning briefing, your journey begins with a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, one of northern Tanzania’s most captivating safari destinations. The park’s signature baobab trees and vast savannah plains provide a dramatic backdrop for your first game drive. You’ll witness large herds of elephants and graceful giraffes wandering along the Tarangire River, while lions and leopards rest under acacia shade.

Enjoy a picnic lunch at a beautiful viewpoint and continue exploring before heading to your romantic lodge in Karatu, where a warm welcome, candle-lit dinner, and serene atmosphere await to set the tone for your romantic adventure.
